Offspring - Character Designer, Storyboard Artist

An undead teenager (otherwise known as an Offspring) navigates his everyday life between becoming a Slasher like his father or staying human.

This is a passion project by two middle school friends who reconnected over our shared love of animation! My old friend Hannah Silverman commissioned me to design characters for her pitch bible for her animated horror pilot “Offspring,” visually inspired by works such as Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus, Gravity Falls, and Gorillaz. From there, Hannah created a successful Indiegogo campaign and hired on a small team to create an animatic. You can watch the full animatic here, in which I storyboarded the first half.

Set My Soul On Fire - Character Designer

Gabe Alexander, a recent graduate from SCAD’s screenwriting Masters program, commissioned me to create character designs for a pitch bible for “Set My Soul On Fire,” A modern fantasy story about demons, angels, love, and identity. Set in a fantastical version of Las Vegas, I combined street style clothing with hints to the characters’ true identities as an ice dragon with a dry and dark sense of humor (Jin-Hai), a human with an angelic lineage fighting for justice (Alia), and the demon queen and her loyal right-hand-demon (Corvin and Zamir).
