Offspring - Character Designer, Storyboard Artist

This is a passion project by two middle school friends who reconnected over our shared love of animation! My old buddy Hannah Silverman hired me to design characters for the pitch bible for her animated horror/comedy pilot “Offspring,” visually inspired by works such as Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus, Gravity Falls, and Gorillaz. From there, Hannah created a successful Indiegogo campaign and hired on a small team to create an animatic. You can watch the full animatic here, in which I storyboarded the first half.

Set My Soul On Fire - Character Designer

Gabe Alexander, a recent graduate from SCAD’s screenwriting Masters program, commissioned me to create character designs for a pitch bible for “Set My Soul On Fire,” A modern fantasy story about demons, angels, love, and identity. Set in a fantastical version of Las Vegas, I combined street style clothing with hints to the characters’ true identities as an ice dragon with a dry and dark sense of humor (Jin-Hai), a human with an angelic lineage fighting for justice (Alia), and the demon queen and her loyal right-hand-demon (Corvin and Zamir).
